First reading with help: two animals on the road

What you'll learn
  • Read the Cantonese line first, then use the Jyutping and the English.
  • All but one character taught; the phrase carrying it comes first.
  • The target lines have no spaces, exactly as a book prints them; the Jyutping is spaced so you can match syllable to character.
  • When a line will not come apart: find the little words first — , , , — and the nouns fall out around them.
